Every company needs a list of rules and I am no different. Please review my Terms as soon as possible, as they relate to both the viewing of this site, commissionsing me, and all matters as they pertain to you and KAF! Studio. I WILL ASSUME THAT YOU HAVE READ THESE IF YOU VISIT THIS SITE/COMMISSION ME.

KAF! Studio™, The Free-Fur Project™ and KrossBreeder™ are all Trademarked and Copyrighted names. Please respect creator rights.

KAF! Studio works for you.
The artist known as KrossBreeder has made a lifestyle out of illustration and takes his work seriously. Please understand that if you default on a payment for a work or service, KAF! Studio will pursue the matter legally. Most illustrations of any serious time-dedication will require a contract, and you will be held to it upon non-payment or other contract deficiencies.

Commissiong Adult Materials. If you would like to commission me to create an Adult (erotic) artwork for you, I will need to be sent Age Verification before I can show you anything pertaining to your commission. An Age Verification form has been uploaded to my Forms page. Please fill this out, and mailt it along with a photocopy of your driver's license or State ID to me at my studio. Please contact me for the address.

As required by law, I cannot work without this information.

Also, as of April, 2003, PayPal no longer allows their services to mediate payment for Adult materials. This includes artwork. Please Refer to PayPal for details, or see my FAQ Page.

This Site contains some ADULT MATERIALS. Even though my work is mostly general enough for mild audiences, some of my work is intended for older patrons. Please note that I have taken measures to cover most of these images with "NC-17" black-out icons, which reveal only the head of the figure when rolled-over. At this time, I do not possess the programming ability to prevent under-18 viewers from entering or viewing such files, so PLEASE take special care to regulate yourself if you are a minor, living in an area that forbids such materials, or otherwise would prefer not to see such pieces.

The images in my gallery are mixed, and ordered chronologically so you could see the progrssion of my style. If this mix does not work, I will remove all the adult pieces and place them into a password-protected page that will require age verification with me to gain.

Turn-Around times are completely subject to change without warning. Every request will be done in turn, completed in the order I received your request, oldest to newest. (See my Waiting List page to see where you are at. Updated every 3 days or so.) I sent you an e-mail when I received your request telling you when to expect your pic. I base this date on current workloads and predictable events. In the event that something else takes priority (I.E. a paying commission, family crisis, hardware breaking down, etc) then my time schedule will obviously be negatively affected. I try really hard to maintain deadlines and to keep my promises. If you have a request with me, it WILL get done. I often run ahead-of-schedule, but all dates and ETAs are loose and can change at any time. I hope you understand. If the shedule is affected in such a way that you would have to wait considerably longer than estimated, you will be notified by mass-email. Check the Waiting List and Home pages frequently for pertinent updates and status.

Paid commissions and requests will have a locked and respected deadline, and that will not change outside of personal injury or family crisis. All paid commissions and requests will be completed on or before the date agreed on. As such, I will expect payment in a timely manner as well. "Paid Commissions" are commissions and requests where I have been specifically hired by you to do a piece, and we have agreed on a price before beginning. Checking the "Yes, I will buy this request" button on my form page does NOT constitute a "Paid Commission" since we did not agree on a price before hand and is therefore un-fair to you. Furs looking to buy their artwork without fail, need to inform me before or during the work.

I have NO theme or pose rules... All ideas, concepts and themes are acceptable, G through XXX! All genders, species, sexual orientations, most fetishes and most fantasies (no matter how twisted) are fine with me, and more than likely fall under something I already like. Forgive me, but the only fetishes I DON'T do are Scat, Water Sports, Snuff, and similar fetishes. There are only a handful of others that I won't do, and it isn't that I'm biased, but as an artist, it's impossible for me to produce something good when I just can't get into it. I hope you understand.

You are not obligated to purchase the original art. However, I will only hold it for 90 days in case you change your mind. After that, it will be made available for sale to the general public.

I will never make prints of your request without your permission, since this would violate your rights as the Trademark holder. If I am ever approached by an individual or a company (I.E. Rabbit Valley) interested in your picture or the collection as a whole, you and every party concerned will be notified immediately to ask for permission. If you accept, we will discuss formalities and any money you may be entitled to. If you reject, then your decision will be treated with the utmost respect and the piece will be kept private. You can change your mind, either way, at any time (within reason. Pieces going to press cannot be revoked without MASSIVE losses.) You will be told who the interested client is, what the piece will be used for, etc. Any money made is subject to change, higher or lower, depending on sales and success of the project. I cannot guarantee anything outside of my control.

You will always own the character rights. I have the right to sell the original artwork, irregardless of character Copyright / Trademark ownership, provided I never publish it exclusively for the intent to sell it (ie, prints) or used exclusively (by-itself) as my self-promotion.

I have the right to display and publish the piece in collections or anthologies as an example of my work, and you will be given credit as the commissioner and Rights owner. Unless a contract is worked out prior to beginning, you are not entitled to any of the profits if the piece is sold after the 90 day period.

Conversely, you have every right to request that your piece / name be kept private. If for example, you need concept work for a sensitive or secretive project, please let me know beforehand and all materials will be treated as such.

PLEASE NOTE that this "free work" offer is only valid for fellow Furs for personal use. If I see the pic I did for you in a comic someday, I'll be pretty pissed. Even though I did this request for free, I still deserve credit for my work. It also helps out my pretty-crappy self-esteem to know something I created wound up in someone's comic or book! Please let me know.

Even though the characters and/or concepts are your ownership, the artwork itself is mine. If your piece is intended for larger projects (ie. Video Games, Comics, Magazines, Web Sites or any other published media) then I must know before beginning. Not only will I go the extra mile for you, but the work I do will require reimbursement. Denying me this right is illegal (even though the work is voluntary). Please ask for permission or let me know before I have to start calling people.

I always keep ALL information (the artwork and its theme, characters, names, AIM screen names, Postal and E-mail addresses, etc) PRIVATE AS ALL HELL. I am a one-Fur operation and have no need or reason to sell or distribute your information. It's just stupid, un-Constitutional, and highly aggrivating. Believe me, I respect your privacy.

I will assume that all information you send me is your own. If you ask for a pic involving a character not of your own creation (or very similar to an existing character) then I will not complete your request. If through some twist of fate I do complete it and catch any crap for it, I will be passing my wrathful vengence onto you. Chances are, no one will care about a single fan-picture, but Copyrights exist for a reason, and as a Copyright holder, I utterly respect them, ... I hope you do, too

Unless you ask me otherwise, I will upload the completed picture I create to the public galleries of my VCL archive. If you deny my request, I will completely understand and hold absolutely no bad-feelings about it. Afterall, it's your character and your name. If you accept, then understand that this is, afterall, the Mother of all public places and it will be seen by ka-jillions of people. I will not be held liable if your name or character likeness is stolen or used without your permission. Please let me know if it is NOT okay to post your pic,... and you can always ask me to take it down later.

PLEASE RESPECT MY PRIVACY. I go to EXTREME lengths to respect the annonymity and privacy of every fur I work with, I ask that you please do the same for me. I'm a freelance artist who works with MANY, MANY different circles, and many of them do not tolerate each other. Breaching my privacy could potentially hurt my commissions, since the fickle field of Art is so heavily based on reputation. Feel completely free to AIM or E-mail me as much and as often as you wish, I still love talking to as many Furs as possible. Please DO NOT get offended if I don't tell you my real name, address or phone number. Besides, I don't want to spoil the magic. Once you've got a human face in your head, you can never fully think of a Fur in the same way.

And lastly, if you're requesting an image through my Free-Fur Project, please don't abuse me. I love doing Fur art, enough so that I'm doing some of it for free. If you're a creator that has 9 million characters, please don't send them all to me at the same time, and please don't try to fill in other email addresses thinking I won't know. I do know. Sometimes you and your friend(s) will send their requests in from the same computer, and that's fine. I'll do as many requests as I possibly can,.. whether you personally have 10 characters you want drawn, or you and your ten friends want pictures, just send them in as normal and I'll get to them in turn... you don't need to sneak around.
